Project: Redesigned website for
Massachusetts ME/CFS & FM Assoc.
The Massachusetts ME/CFS & FM Assocation were using an outdated version of Joomla to maintain their site, but the version had reached end of life.
Working closely with the Association team members, I redesigned and rebuilt their site, moving it from Joomla to a more user-friendly Wordpress environment.
My foci were three-fold:
Make the site more organized
Make it more user-friendly
Update the design to a more modern look
The existing site suffered from an overabundance of menus and links without a clear hierarchy. We also took this opportunity to scrub a lot of outdated content from the site.
From the client:
“Working with Mr. Trudell has been an absolute delight. He is thoughtful, pragmatic, highly responsive, conscientious and professional. Our project was completed on time and (after adding items to the scope of work) within budget. We heartily recommend Josh Trudell for website design and development work, without reservation.”

Project: St. Mary’s University Greehey School of Business Guidebook
St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas, has been a client for some time. Projects have included books, posters, flyers, and more.
In this case, I was asked to design the annual guidebook for the Greehey School of Business, including creating the infographics on the second page shown here. I worked closely with the team at the school to build a product that met the school’s communication standards.
Project: Mass Save Infographic
on Tier 2 Advanced Power Strips
I had never heard of a tier 2 Advanced Power Strip when I was asked to make this infographic.
I researched, wrote, and designed this infographic to highlight the benefits of these power strips, including how some plugs have constant power and others do not.
Project: Future Harvest Annual Report
I enjoy working with nonprofits, and one of the groups I work with regularly is Future Harvest, a farming advocacy cooperative based in the mid-Atlantic states.
I developed this page for their 2022 annual report, and we’ve adapted it every year since, changing the numbers and updating the graphics.
From the client:
“His ability to makes sense of my early, scatter-brained notes and create clear and beautiful designs is incredible. Each time I reach out with a short deadline and big dreams, he manages to swiftly turn around a stunning solution. Josh has exceeded our expectations designing everything from save-the-date postcards, print ads, and digital ads to full, 20+ page conference programs.

I redesigned the report, updated the images with higher-quality images, and
Project: Technical documentation
This is an example of a technical document I designed. I have designed a wide variety of white papers, technical manuals, and other documents for laboratories and engineering firms.
Many of them contain proprietary information. I am under NDAs regarding those documents.
