Capturing images of people can be both the most rewarding and most challenging part of being a photographer. I photograph weddings, sports, and a wide range of events.
Sports
Photographing sports was one of my first loves, going back to getting Sports Illustrated every week as a child. I enjoy every genre of photography, but if I had to pick one, it might well be sports.
Portraits
Some of my first inspirations in photography were books of portraiture by Herb Ritts and Richard Avedon.
I love capturing portraits - I’ve found they are the type of photos that generate the most intense reactions.
Events
If an event catches my interest (or if I’m hired), I love capturing it. That has included concerts, weddings, and some random events like throwing burning metal at walls and driving cattle through the middle of a city.
