From above, New Zealand reveals a completely different side that is equally as beautiful. The mountains ringing Milford Sound (Piopiotahi) are carved by glaciers that left room for many small lakes.

The sound is part of Fiordland National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The waterfall at the bottom of the image leads down to the sound.
