Waterfall Reflections

from $350.00

This waterfall and brook were by the side of the road between Wānaka and Fox Glacier on the South Island’s western coast. The first thing I noticed was the reflection in the river.

Waterfalls are important to the culture of the Māori. They believed water monsters (taniwha) lived beneath or behind waterfalls, guarding the interests of their tribe. (Source: Te Ara, The Encyclopedia of New Zealand)

Sony A7RIVA, Sony FE 24-70 GM II, ISO 50 @ 24mm, f14, 1.6 second exposure.
