Waves Upon Waves
I planned the New Zealand trip over a two-year period. You can imagine my reaction when the first day started with rain, mist, and low-hanging clouds that, at first look, threatened to make the day a total washout.
That might have been the best possible introduction to New Zealand though. With clouds swirling around and through the ravines and mountain peaks, changing the scene every moment, the opportunities for composition were endless.
